ACAF CONTINUES GROWTH WITH NEW MEMBERS AMERICAN Carbon ALLIANCE, SUMMIT AGRICULTURAL GROUP & RENEW KANSAS

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels (ACAF) today announced the addition of the American Carbon Alliance, Summit Agricultural Group and Renew Kansas to the coalition. The three new members joined ACAF to promote the economic benefits of an expanded sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) market in the United States. Through the continued investment in American farmers and a commitment to promoting biofuels, the American Carbon Alliance, Summit Agricultural Group and Renew Kansas will help ensure the continued growth of the domestic SAF market through collaborative partnerships across agriculture, energy, manufacturing and transportation industries.

“The agriculture sector is facing significant challenges, including stagnant corn prices, high input costs, and declining farm incomes—issues that impact not only farmers but also the broader rural economy,” Tom Buis, CEO of the
American Carbon Alliance, said. "Expanding higher ethanol blends for consumers and advancing sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) represent powerful opportunities for market growth. We are excited to join the Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels to advance policies that will strengthen the U.S. market for clean aviation fuels, creating economic benefits that extend well beyond the aviation industry.”

"Joining Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels aligns with our commitment to advancing low-carbon energy solutions," said Bruce Rastetter, founder and executive chairman of
Summit Agricultural Group. "As the demand for lower-carbon fuels grows, we have an opportunity to lead in creating pathways that support American agriculture and strengthen our energy independence. I look forward to working with the coalition to drive innovation and expand access to fuel options for the aviation industry."

“We are appreciative of Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels’ work advocating on behalf of the countless benefits for sustainable aviation fuels and we are excited to assist in these efforts,”
Renew Kansas President and CEO Ron Seeber said. “Our member biofuel producers recognize the importance of market expansion, not only for their respective organizations, but for their farmers and the state of Kansas, and our country as a whole.”

ACAF leads efforts to expand the American SAF market, given its ability to reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% or more and decarbonize the aviation sector.  The American Carbon Alliance, Summit Agricultural Group and Renew Kansas join the growing roster of ACAF members representing the entire SAF value chain, including: Delta Air Lines, Airbus, Growth Energy, ExxonMobil, POET, Airlines for America, National Business Aviation Association, Corteva, Indiana Soybean Alliance, Iowa Soybean Association, Missouri Soybeans, Ohio Soybean Council, BP, Rolls Royce and Natural State Renewables.
