KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI – Americans for Clean Aviation Fuels (ACAF) founding member Delta Air Lines participated in Agri-Pulse’s annual Ag Outlook Forum on Monday, September 16, alongside industry experts and key policymakers. Jeff Davidman, Delta’s vice president of state and local government affairs, joined a panel discussion about the promising future of biofuels.
“SAF is the most important lever we have to decarbonize aviation today. Our commitment to promoting and incentivizing investment in a domestic SAF industry is only strengthened through our strategic partnerships with representatives across the full value chain.” Davidman said. “Across the Heartland, successful SAF tax credits are being implemented in states like Minnesota, Nebraska and Illinois–but others must follow suit. We believe SAF will be good for farmers, good for our communities, and good for our environment.”
Donnell Rehagen, CEO of Clean Fuels Alliance America, Lee Blank, CEO of Summit Carbon Solutions, and Greg Krissek, CEO Emeritus of the Kansas Corn Grower Association joined Davidman on the panel. Other conference attendees include U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) and U.S. Department of Agriculture chief economist Dr. Seth Meyer.
Agri-Pulse’s Ag Outlook Forum is regarded as one of the premier ag events helping identify the challenges and opportunities within the agriculture industry today and features top economic, policy, business and government officials.
As part of a national effort to promote the economic benefits of clean aviation fuels (CAFs), including SAF, ACAF unites industry leaders from across the full SAF value chain – from aviation and energy to manufacturing and agribusiness.
